I have a 2011 kink curb bmx bike and I was wondering if I could put mountain bike rims and tire on it and change the fork to a shock absorber fork? If I can’t why not?

its a 16" (mens) gary fischer advance rst that i bought for about 400$ in 2003. it’s never been on the trails or in an accident of any kind — just used it for riding around campus. now that i’d like to get into mnt biking i find the frame is much to large for me to control on such terrain. if anyone can give me an approx resale value that’d be awesome! thanks!

I’m going to be making a run down an approx. 1mi long hill and was wondering what the world record was for the highest unassisted speed reached on a mountain bike. I’m not going to be towed to obtain a higher speed. It’s just going to be me and my bike.

I have a mens mongoose mountain bike and a next womens bike both 26inch. I own a 96 ford escort wagon. I’m going to be traveling 800 miles " moving" in the next three months. I need to find a bike rack to go on my trunk, not the top of my car. Any ideas? I’m researched Thule Racks but I cant find anything specific for my car. Any ideas would be fantastic!
