I got a mountain bike for Christmas but need to use it to get to school in the cold morniings. It it ok to use it on sidewalks rather than rough terrain. People say road biked are better but I didn’t get a road bike. The mountain bike looks sort of huge and heavy for me. So can I do it or will I be told it’s not for road sidewalks. Thanks.
I’ve got a trek 3900 right now, and its not really performing like i’d like a mountain bike to. I’m definitely investing in disc brakes and a solid fork on the next bike i buy
I’m talking about the ones shown on most ads showing a mountain bike.
I recently bought this Boss Blackdawn bike on amazon:

Looks amazing on the screen. The one I recieved was pretty much the same except gave me 10p mudguards, not the sleek ones shown.
this video was made a long time ago and not by me. PS i did not edit this vid
I am getting into mountain bike racing this year for the first time. I am a cat 4 on the road and use clip less pedals there. I have an extra set of old school Shimano road pedals that I could use but am wondering if there is a big difference between road and mountain pedals. Are they easier to get out of, and how much are they really needed in Cat 3 mountain bike racing? Does everyone use them?
Tarek Rasouli, former Mountain bike pro and organizer of this year’s 26trix in Leogang (AUT) introduces the concept and guides through the event.
I am a 14 year old girl looking to buy a bike. I want to use it to get around, and I live on a pretty big hill (cooper mountain in Oregon if you know what that is) and will be using it to go up and down the mountain. I will ride it a lot, up to 10 miles at a time. I don’t want to spend a lot, but want a bike that I can use.
Also, what is the difference between mens and womens bikes? My friend ( a girl) has a mens bike, and says its better. How will I know what to buy?
